SALLY

Singing and performing has always been in my life. My career was in musical theatre. Performing in the West End and touring the county with shows such as Cats, My Fair Lady, Guys and Dolls, Sister Act, Ghost.

These days I’m a wife and mum of two. As well as looking after my children I’ve been building my new career as an artist @sallyroperartist and cake maker @theartycake .

I’ve wanted to get back to singing but have been waiting for the right opportunity and now that has finally come since joining forces with Mandy. Together we have the perfect combination, complimenting each other’s strengths.

MANDY

I love to sing and always have, used to be a session singer for a few years, sung in a big band since uni called Spitting Feathers and had a band called The Satyres at college which in a round about way led to me getting my first job at Sony Music, worked in music PR most of my life, love to run and walk with my dog and very fond of clapping and waving at people.

Like all sorts of music and can harmonise to almost anything. Like to bake cakes and puddings and eat at restaurants and I loveeeee going on holiday and especially like being in the mountains or by the sea. Have two beautiful girls who make laugh daily and rock my world, a beautiful springer spaniel and a very understanding and patient husband.

Some of the artists we cover include The Beatles, Janis Joplin, Britney Spears, Peggy Lee, Beyonce, Christine and the Queens, George Michael, The Pogues, Jeff Buckley, Van Morrison, Cyndi Lauper, Pharrell Williams, Dolly Parton, Dusty Springfield, and… er… One Direction.
